  • Do you offer expedited shipping?
No we don't. In an effort to keep things as simple as possible we just offer ground options.

  • Are your sauces all natural?
Why yes they are, thank you. We don't use anything that can't be picked off of a tree or a plant or pulled out of the ground, ever!
  • Why does my sauce look different? Have a different heat level?
Small batch, all natural products are prone to variance for a couple reasons. We don't buy ingredients at massive scale so we kinda have to take what is available. That doesn't mean that we take substandard products. On the contrary, Tom personally inspects every single pepper, carrot onion etc. before buying it. However, different harvests of product from different farms, states, soil types etc. will result in different colors, flavor and heat of the item. we like to think it is a selling point and derives from the care and love that goes into each batch. I like to think of it this way. Tobasco makes several hundred thousand bottles of sauce every single day. They grow their own peppers and can control every aspect of the production. They are consistent and you can be sure that every bottle is just as bad as the last.
  • Are your sauces gluten free/vegan?
Our current line up of sauces are extremely healthy containing only all natural fruits, vegetable, spices and in one case, almond flour for thickening. We don't use xanthin gum, or any added sodium products. In fact all of our sauces have a fraction of the salt you would find in most major brands and minimal amounts of sugar outside of the fruits and honey in our various products. We don't want to make any specific claims and we prefer that you look at the ingredients list and judge for yourself that it is safe for your particular dietary needs.
  • Does my sauce need to be refrigerated?
Yes. Our sauces are not fermented and as such are what's considered an "acidified" food. The Ph level has to meet a certain legal standard in order to make it shelf stable and give it a nice long life in an environment where pathogens can't grow. That being said, once opened, airborne pathogens can get introduced. Open bottles should be refrigerated not only to help keep spoilage at bay but to keep it fresher tasting and longer lasting.
  • Are Your Products Local and Organic?
We source products that are local to us and are organically grown as much as possible. The simple truth is that some items simply can't be found in our area. We use pineapple, mango, salt, pepper and other spices etc., that simply are not available locally. We do use Vidalia onions when available, local honey, local apple cider vinegar ( we are in apple country ) and local produce like carrots, and of course peppers. Organic is a different matter altogether. It is difficult to get an official "organic" designation because it is so politicized and heavily lobbied by big food. You would be surprised what "organic" actually means to the FDA. For instance, if you are a small local farmer and a dog has access to your plants you can't get the designation because it may poop in there. Never mind that any number of wild animal that exist in the area have that access. So we won't put the word "organic" on our products but rest a assured that we do our best to source organically raised produce as much as possible.
